Description Omni-Serv is in search of a Part-Time Security Guard to surveil our location in the Newark, NJ area. We are looking for a professional and reliable individual to monitor site activity and control access, ensuring a safe and secure environment. This role involves a high level of interaction with customers, visitors, and employees, and requires strong customer service skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. Compensation: $16.00 per hour Shift: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Job Responsibilities: Interact with customers, visitors, and employees on a daily basis Verify the identity of individuals seeking entry to ensure proper authorization and credentials Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing personnel, vehicles, and deliveries Monitor and control access to designated areas from the guard booth Prepare and complete incident reports as needed Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment Remain vigilant, alert, and observant throughout the assigned shift Requirements Valid SORA license Minimum of one (1) year of security guard experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Ability to remain vigilant, alert, and observant throughout the duration of the shift Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
