Description:
Commissionaires BC is currently looking for security professionals to work at the Kelowna International Airport (YLW). As a Security Officer, some responsibilities include curbside traffic control, cart collection, and continuous foot patrol. This is a casual, on-call position. You must be available for at least 2-3 times listed below in “shifts available.” Please detail specific days and shift times you are available in your application.
Shifts available:
- Sunday to Saturday 7:00am - 3:00pm (Morning)
- Sunday to Saturday 4:00pm - 12:00am (Afternoon/Evening)
Wage: $22/hour
Responsibilities:
- Curbside traffic control
- Cart collection
- Offering first class customer service to both clients and general public
- Interior and exterior patrols
- Access Control
- CCTV Monitoring
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports
- Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor
