Level 1 - 2 Security Guard Job Description - Advance Onsite Protection Security (AOPSecurity.com) Grave, Swing, Night, Weekdays/Weekends Shifts ONLY Pay - $16 - $18hr A Security Guard, or Security Officer, is responsible for protecting a person, organization, or asset in the case of an incident. Their duties include monitoring a specific area, evicting trespassers, and writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift. Responsibilities: * Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules * Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security * Warn violators of premise rules and regulations * Expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts * Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes * Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations * Using company software for report writing during surveillance/patrol of property Qualifications: * Must have NM Level 1or 2 security guard card (Training Class - available) * Good driving record if approved for Patrol officer Skills:: * Flexible and Dependable * Good customer service and professionalism * Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields is a plus * Familiarity with security equipment * Excellent Communication * Strong attention to detail * Ability to use cell phone to do reports * Ability to remain calm under stress * Ability to work with the public in a professional manner Must have a reliable vehicle Benefits for Full time employees: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life
