What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a retail distribution center location. Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and/or contractors. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, visitor check-ins, and any incidents that occur at the front desk. Assist in emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with Allied Universal management and/or emergency services as needed. Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through attentive front desk presence and observation. Provide information and assistance to employees, visitors, and/or contractors, addressing inquiries and directing them to appropriate areas within the location. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
