We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of Canadian Government property. You will have experience within an industrial environment within a warehouse or distribution center or a similar sector where you are responsible for protecting assets. You have strong customer service acumen with ability to resolve issues with a diverse background of individuals including visitors, truck drivers, contractors and client employees. You are able to perform internal and external patrols in cold and hot conditions. Position Overview: Wages: $$21.73/hr Shift timings: Days, Afternoons, Overnights and Weekends Location: London, Ontario. RESPONSIBILITIES: De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk. Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required. Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed. Denying entry to anyone without authorization. Verifying credentials and ensure that each visitor possesses the necessary credentials to be granted access to site. Operate gates at gatehouse locations, screening all visitors and truck drivers. Inspect trailers ensuring trailer doors are locked and sealed before the truck leaves. Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur. Loss prevention duties. Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response. Perform foot patrols inside and outside the facility. QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Ontario Security License Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate 1 years of security experience minimum within large scale security operations is required. Experience at Logistics sites is a strong asset. 1 year of loss prevention experienced is preferred. Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response. Customer service experience is a strong asset. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include de-escalating tense situations using verbal communication, responding to medical emergencies requiring CPR/AED, and managing site access by verifying credentials and operating gates. Personnel will also monitor CCTV, perform loss prevention duties, and conduct internal and external patrols.
