As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, perform security-related checks, respond to alarms and/or incidents, and assist employees and visitors with professional customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including escalating concerns and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and control entry and exit of employees, contractors, and deliveries per post orders, including verifying identification and/or required authorization. Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observed hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns to site leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
