As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and visitor badging, respond to service calls, and provide clear, professional customer service to tenants and guests. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, corridors, stairwells, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns. Monitor access points and authorize entry for approved personnel, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with post orders, issuing visitor instructions and/or temporary credentials as required by the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, fire and/or alarm activations, and notification of site contacts and/or public responders. Document patrols, observations, and incidents in written reports and logs, and communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site management. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
