As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Support store management and staff by assisting with security-related matters and maintaining a visible presence. Assist with access control and/or crowd management during peak hours or special events. Document and report all incidents, accidents, and security-related occurrences in accordance with company policies. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. It is preferred that candidates are able to lift more than 20 lbs. It is preferred that candidates are comfortable using a computer or tablet. It is preferred that candidates are able to lift up to 20 lbs. Experience in loss prevention is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
