As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere within a bustling retail or mall location. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the retail or mall location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to observe for irregular conditions and help to deter unwanted activity. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and designated areas within the location. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with company and client requirements. Support emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding guests and/or employees during escalated situations. Maintain a visible presence and provide assistance to visitors, tenants, and employees as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
