We provide a comprehensive range of essential facility management services to over 1,000 clients across various sectors, inclusive of commercial and government buildings, residential communities, schools, industrial facilities, transportation hubs, and retail outlets throughout the East Coast and New England. Responsibilities and Duties: Conducts patrol of the site interior and perimeter to identify potential security and safety risks or undesirable conditions. Evaluates situations and makes logical decisions on how to proceed and direct work. Maintains order on the site; coordinates expedient responses to emergency conditions, including fires, safety hazards and threats to life and/or property in a calm, rational and persuasive manner. Handles undesired conduct, violations of building policy and civil laws as warranted for the security and safety of guests, employees, patrons and property. Reports all incidents, accidents or medical emergencies. Monitors site for any unusual activity. In the case of suspicious behavior, reports via radio to the supervisor on duty; reports any alarms similarly. Maintain surveillance and reporting of any suspicious persons and/or packages. Required to execute a number of comprehensive and integrated security measures and countermeasures Must be able to adapt physically and to the changing needs and priorities of the site. Education and Experience: High School graduate (some college education is preferred). Qualifications and Skills: A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is a +. Valid NYS Guard License 8 hour + 16 hour certificates Strong organizational and interpersonal skills preferred. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
