Description

Moorings Park is looking for Security Guards. The Security Guard monitors all traffic entering and leaving the property, monitors computer for any emergencies that may arise, and the access control system, which allows authorized controlled entry into the facility. Secures and patrols buildings and the entire campus. Sign On Bonus: - Up to $500.00 Positions Available: On Call Contributions: * Monitor security, resident alerts and Fire Alarm System taking appropriate actions in a timely manner. * Distributes and processes barcode application forms in conjunction with installation of barcodes to authorized applicants. * Receive calls and dispatch appropriate personnel to handle after hour emergencies which may arise in residential apartments, i.e. water leaks, A/C problems, etc. * Monitor traffic of employees, visitors, and residents entering and departing Moorings Park in an efficient and courteous manner and if necessary, contacts residents or staff to authorize admission of visitors or guests while adhering to protocols. * Operate switchboard after hours receiving and transferring calls and operate a two-way radio system. * Enters data into the security access control system as well as various department databases and keep accurate legible records, logs, and reports. * Use provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner. * Monitor Surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruption or unlawful activities and report any suspicious behaviors or happenings. * Contact the relevant authorities if a crime is committed or an accident occurs. * Report to a Supervisor on a regular basis. * May be required to lock up buildings, patrol the campus during the evening hours and report any maintenance emergencies or problems to the on-call maintenance personnel. Job Requirements: * Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language required * During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster. * High school diploma or equivalent * One year of security experience preferred * Good Understanding of legal guidelines for area Security and Public Safety preferred. * Excellent customer service skills Moorings Park ® Communities, a renowned Life Plan organization includes three unique campuses located in Naples, Florida.
