As an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and/or tenant concerns, communicate clearly with site contacts, and document observations with attention to detail. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies for a commercial real estate location, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to alarms, disturbances, medical situations, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, loading and delivery zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and access concerns. Monitor access points and vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas. Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security experience. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
