Rumble Boxing Montclair is looking to immediately hire a Security Guard to join our team. The ideal person for this position is passionate about maintaining public safety at all times and during any situation. You will be responsible for protecting both clients and staff, as well as helping maintain a secure environment. Requirements: At least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the United States Successful completion of a background check required Strong written and verbal communication Excellent observational skills Previous surveillance experience Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills High school diploma or equivalent required Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand or sit for long periods Strong, stable work history Reliable transportation required Law enforcement experience (preferred) Security guard training certification (preferred) Responsibilities: Observe and report suspicious activity to management and/or ownership Physically prevent unruly individuals from entering, or remove them from the building Escort clients and staff to/from the premises to/from their vehicles when necessary Respond quickly and appropriately during emergencies
