REQUIREMENT AND EXPERIENCE

Valid BC Security Worker License
Completed Basic Security Training (BST)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to handle pressure and emergencies
Advanced Security Training (AST) license
First Aid / CPR certification
Class 5 Driver’s License (for mobile patrol)

Responsibilities
  • Monitor premises through CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential security risks.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities in reports for further review.
  • Assist in the training of new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with staff and visitors, addressing their inquiries or concerns effectively.
