JOB DESCRIPTION AS FOLLOWS:

• Monitoring & Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of the property and its occupants.
• Access Control: Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access, ensuring all visitors sign in and out.
• Incident Response: Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; report and document incidents accurately.
• Surveillance: Use surveillance equipment to monitor activities and identify potential security risks.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance and information to employees and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review.
• Emergency Procedures: Follow emergency procedures and protocols, including evacuation and lockdown measures.
• Policy Enforcement: Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security or related field preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience in security or law enforcement is an advantage.
• Certifications: Valid security guard license or certification as required by state/local law.
• Skills:
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Basic computer skills for report writing and surveillance monitoring.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Must be able to handle physical confrontations if necessary.

Work Environment:

• Varies between indoor and outdoor settings.
• May require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
