Located in the heart of Garden City, the Hotel is a stone’s throw away from Manhattan, only 15 miles by car or 45 minutes by Long Island Railroad. * We currently have a career opportunity available for an experienced Security Officer with Law enforcement OR Military preferred. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Patrol all areas of hotel property (front and back of the hotel) and hotel grounds * Monitor Security cameras * Respond to guest and employee accidents and have accurate, detailed investigation reports prepared * Monitor Fire Panel * Defuse guest disturbances and remove guests from property if needed * Perform Security duties for events * Maintain confidentiality of employee and guest incidents * Process Lost & Found * Perform duties and oversee offices on shift. * We have a full-time and a part-time position available. Full-time schedule is Sunday to Thursday, 3pm-11pm with flexibility needed to cover other shifts as needed. Part-time schedule needs to be flexible.
