Description

In this position, you’ll be at the forefront of incident response, ensuring that the right resources are in place when it matters most. Your ability to quickly assess situations and prioritize appropriately will be key to keeping us secure.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re seeking someone with a solid technical foundation and a passion for information security. You’ll have a few years of hands-on experience in roles such as SOC analyst, IT forensics, or security/crisis management

Responsibilities

KEY TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Coordinate and allocate resources during incidents and recommend actions to minimize impact.
  • Work on the aftermath, to ensure that we have found the right root causes and that we turn lessons learned into actionable improvements.
  • Streamline incident management workflows for smarter and more efficient responses in the future.
  • Implement preventive initiatives to raise awareness and readiness around incident and crisis management across the organization.

WHAT CAN THE ROLE OFFER YOU?

Global collaboration: Join a team of over 70 world-class security specialists supporting more than 200 companies and 16,000 employees within the Visma Group.
Challenging work: Gain experience tackling cutting-edge security challenges and tracking emerging threats in a dynamic environment.
Flexibility: Work remotely or from one of our modern, well-equipped offices—wherever you work best.

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

    • You remain calm and focused, even under pressure, and are confident making decisions based on incomplete information.

    • You communicate complex issues in a way that’s clear and understandable, tailoring your language to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • You’re systematic, detail-oriented, and always ready to adapt as new information emerges.
    • You’re fluent in English (spoken and written)—bonus points if you’re proficient in additional European languages.
You are familiar with GDPR and other security/privacy regulations. You understand how these frameworks shape incident management and how a transparent process can turn challenges into valuable learning opportunities. Preferably you are located in the Netherlands, however other locations can be considered for the right candidate.
