Job Summary We are seeking a candidate for apprentice level Installation Technician position in Riverside, CA. Successful candidates will install wiring, install CCTV cameras, Access Control, Fire Systems, and Intrusion Systems in the Southern California area. Candidates must be able to work independently and have great customer service skills. Responsibilities · Willing to be enrolled in an apprenticeship program (3 years) · On-site installation of all products we sell · Willing to take direction for lead technician · Install, assemble, and dismantle equipment and systems as required. · Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. · Able to work with other team members and departments · Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and technologies to provide effective solutions. · Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements · Install IP CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, and integrated security systems (DMP, Bosch, Honeywell, Verint, 3VR, OpenEye, Lenel, Axis) · Pull, terminate, label, and test low-voltage wiring per spec and code · Mount panels, power supplies, readers, cameras, and devices clean, level, and secure · Troubleshoot and correct installation issues in the field · Test and commission systems prior to leaving site to ensure full functionality · Work independently in client environments with professionalism · Communicate job progress, delays, or issues clearly to management · Complete job documentation accurately and on time · Follow all safety standards — no shortcuts · Maintain tools, truck stock, and equipment in organized condition · Support teammates and assist with training when needed · Stay current with product updates and evolving technology Qualifications & Experience: · Strong low-voltage wiring knowledge · Experience with IP cameras, access control systems, and intrusion panels · Ability to read prints and work without constant supervision · Clean, organized workmanship — no sloppy wiring inside or outside panels · Strong troubleshooting skills · Professional communication with customers · Servicing customers withing Southern California region · Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs occasionally), climb ladders, operate lifts, and work in tight spaces
Responsibilities
