About the Opportunity Our Security team provides a wide range of services including security governance, design, engineering, integration, assurance, verification and validation to critical infrastructure clients. We are seeking an integration engineer to join our growing Sydney team. This role will be at the forefront of project delivery within Transport infrastructure and driving security aspects of complex systems integration projects. This role will form a crucial member of our security team, with a strong project delivery and integration focus and deliver projects and support our leadership and client teams in achieving their deliverables. These include developing and leading delivery programs, coordinating system integration activities, contributing to the delivery and integration tasks, supporting the implementation of multi-year security programs, and ensuring compliance with contracts and project requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate the end-to-end delivery, verification, validation, and testing including FAT and SAT of security integration programs Lead the development and execution of detailed project and test plans, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and schedule. Coordinate and resolve technical and delivery issues with internal and external stakeholders. Manage and coordinate commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of integration projects. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align security delivery with project requirements Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and decision registers, proactively escalating risks and issues with impact assessments. Support procurement activities in collaboration with the engineering team and suppliers including BOM, RFP, RFQs Coordinate with internal team and vendors to ensure technical and delivery performance. Coordinate test activities and planning ahead for on time delivery Lead project scheduling, resource planning, and progress reporting, ensuring that milestones are achieved within defined timelines and budgets About You Bachelor’s degree in engineering, security, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in system integration, design, and delivery of OT/ICS systems, security and network systems. Demonstrated experience in managing complex system integration projects across OT and security domains. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Understanding of the engineering, test and commissioning process. Ability to manage project schedule and report Previous project delivery experience on Australian based major projects Understanding of the cost management process and reporting Understanding of value engineering vs cost procedure. Demonstrated experience in project management methodologies Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, manage vendors, internal delivery team and subcontractors, and liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additional Preferred Experience Previous relevant experience in transport projects is preferred; however, experience in other critical infrastructure sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Defence, or Telecommunications is also highly regarded.
