About the Role: We are looking for interns to join security team and assist with key areas of Identity and Access Management & Security Operations. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a scale-up environment, while also contributing to impactful projects and developing your skills in the tech and cloud domains. Key Responsibilities: Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts and incidents using Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender. Endpoint & Device Management: Assist with the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of endpoint security policies via MDM, ensuring devices meet organisational compliance standards. Identity & Access Management: Support IAM operations including user lifecycle management, access reviews, and conditional access policies within Microsoft Entra ID and 1Password. Policy Management & Enforcement: Help develop, document, and enforce security policies across endpoints, applications, and cloud environments. Reporting & Analytics: Monitor security metrics, compile dashboards, and provide regular reporting on SecOps KPIs, IAM operations, and endpoint compliance posture. Research & Continuous Improvement: Research best practices and emerging threats relevant to the Microsoft security stack and recommend improvements to existing security processes. Collaboration: Work closely with IT, DevOps, and cross-functional teams to ensure security is embedded across the organisation. Ad-Hoc Support: Provide support for any additional security tasks and projects as needed. Requirements: Fresh graduates or final-year students, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A strong “Go-Getter” attitude with a willingness to take initiative and get things done. A basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts. Familiarity with process management, documentation, and workflows. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as an Individual Contributor and as a Team player.
