About the role

  • Provision of day-to-day management of all aspects of security
  • Supporting senior managers in promoting a security culture throughout the workforce
  • Interface with the emergency services
  • First point of contact for all security related matters on sit

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead Balfour Beatty security activities
  • Be empowered to influence decisions regarding security of Balfour Beatty staff and assets
  • Implement & Manage security solutions on site in line with Balfour Beatty security policies, produce and update security plans and procedures
  • Identify security threats, risks and vulnerabilities within the scope of works and provide cost efficient mitigation
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining security processes within the scope of works designed to protect personnel and assets
  • Investigate security incidents and crimes committed within the scope of works
  • Maintain regular security meetings with local law enforcement, Counter Terrorism Security Advisor and security supply chain to identify threats, risks and vulnerabilities to the project
  • Auditing and reporting on security processes adopted to include penetration testing
  • Update the Projects Security Management Plan in line with the scope and monitor compliance
  • Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm
  • Support the delivery of the project
  • Lead with the procurement for the Main Works security scope
  • Coordinate security measures with other delivery partners
