JOB SUMMARY

The Security Manager at Black Desert Resort supports the daily leadership of the resort’s Security and Loss Prevention Department. This position ensures the protection of all persons and property while overseeing traffic management, guest shuttle service, lost and found operations, and resort-wide safety programs. Reporting to the Director of Security, the Deputy Security Manager leads a team of security professionals and plays a key role in emergency response, property patrol, access control, and training.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support security officers, shuttle drivers, and traffic personnel across the resort.
  • Oversee guest shuttle logistics, route efficiency, vehicle safety, and on-time transportation.
  • Monitor and direct traffic flow throughout the property, including coordination during events and high-volume arrivals.
  • Manage the resort’s lost and found program, including tracking, storage, and guest communications.
  • Lead resort-wide safety programs including inspections, emergency planning, drills, and OSHA compliance.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify risks, enforce policies, and deter incidents.
  • Coordinate the monitoring of surveillance systems, alarm panels, and building access points.
  • Assist with investigations related to theft, incidents, or safety concerns in coordination with local authorities.
  • Respond to guest and employee emergencies with professionalism and urgency.
  • Maintain up-to-date incident reports, inspection logs, and departmental records.
  • Ensure resort compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Act as the security department leader in the absence of the Director of Security.
