SECURITY MANAGER, ESPOO

We are looking for a full-time Security Manager at Avarn Security Oy for our client in Espoo.

PURPOSE

The security manager is an integral part of the customer’s security organization with the responsibility of managing and developing their physical security operations in Finland.
As a main rule, the Security Manager is on duty during office hours, i.e. from 8 am to 4 pm, and their working place is at the customer’s site in Espoo. (Due to the nature of the work, some flexibility regarding work hours is expected.)

MAIN TASKS

The main task of the security manager is to be part of the customer’s security team, bringing with them the necessary expertise and insight.
The security manager helps to implement the customer’s global standards and protocols regarding physical security and emergency response in Finland.
This role combines deep security operations expertise with leadership, technical understanding, and a proactive mindset.

EXAMPLES OF THE TASKS:

• Main user of security systems (incl. access control, cctv, etc.)
• Develops and maintains Security SOPs, emergency response plans and instructions
• Consultation and planning concerning safety and security issues
• Supporting role in the Safety & Physical Security organization, and liaison with third parties such as service providers and law enforcement
• Planning and directing event security and special operations (strategic, tactical and operative)
• Responding to security and emergency incidents including investigations and documentation
