The Grenada Airports Authority (GAA) is seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven Security Manager to lead and oversee all security operations across its airports. This senior leadership position requires a security professional with a strong background in aviation security management, regulatory compliance, and crisis response. As part of the Grenada Airports Authority (GAA)—which plays a vital role in safeguarding Grenada’s gateway to the world—you will lead the strategy and operations that protect our airports, ensuring the safety and security of staff, passengers, and assets while upholding international aviation standards. Strategic Leadership Provide high-level security guidance to the General Manager, Management Team, and Board of Directors. Develop and execute the department’s strategic direction in alignment with GAA’s overall strategic plan. Represent GAA on security matters with internal and external agencies. Compliance & Regulation Ensure full compliance with ICAO and TSA standards and all local and regional regulations. Develop and maintain airport security policies, instructions, and operational procedures. Oversee investigations and provide timely security reports to the Authority. Operations & Planning Direct the implementation of airport security plans, access control, CCTV operations, and traffic management. Oversee contingency planning for emergencies, including hijackings, bomb threats, and drug trafficking. Implement procedures for theft prevention, lost-and-found, and parking lot surveillance. Team Leadership Manage, train, and develop security staff to maintain competency and operational excellence. Participate in key staffing decisions, including recruitment, promotions, and performance management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related discipline. Specialized training in Aviation Security. Experience Minimum of seven (7) years’ senior-level experience in airport or aviation security. Skills Sound knowledge of airport policing techniques, ICAO standards, and security operations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Other Requirements Ability to stay ahead of emerging aviation security challenges and technologies. Strong integrity and proactive approach to problem-solving. Must have a clean character certificate and be able to obtain and maintain security clearances. Valid drivers license
