Your Day to Day * To manage and supervise the day-to-day security force of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property. * To review and conduct performance evaluations for Department & Security Officers. * To implement all policies and procedures regarding security and safety. * To design and implement preventive safety and security programs. * To prevent situations that could jeopardize the reputation of the resort. * To investigate crimes committed against the resort, guests, and employees. * To document all incidents occurring in the resort in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities, and insurance requirements. And in documenting such activities remain objectives and write a comprehensive report. * To assist resort associates in handling of unusual guest or employee problems, such as, but not limited to, disorderly conduct, thefts, suicides, bomb threats, employee or guest accidents, fire or safety hazards, robberies, terrorist activities, civil disturbance, power or elevator failures, medical assistance and natural disasters. * To select, train, schedule, discipline and direct security personnel in all aspects of security policies and procedures. * To keep abreast of developments within the resort and community as they relate to security as well as act as a liaison with local law-enforcement agencies. * To remain informed of current National and local laws and regulations as they relate to the resort, particularly in areas of guest, patrol and employee rights. * To take an active role in the development and implementation of the resort's fire plan. In addition to testing the resort’s Fire and Emergency Response preparedness. * To take responsibility for all training related to the resort's emergency procedures, and conduct bi-annual Fire Drills. * To develop a yearly budget for the department. * To control the key, lock system, alarm system, and fire protection system. * To perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Director of Operations and General Manager.    
Responsibilities
The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily security operations, managing the security team, and ensuring the safety of guests and property. They will implement safety programs, conduct incident investigations, and maintain compliance with local laws and fire safety regulations.
