Job Description Place of Performance: Initial Phase (Development): Based primarily in Paris or Dubai. Regular travel to the project site in Libya (approx. twice per month). Duration: 10 months until October 2026. Construction Phase (Post-FID): Services may be extended upon mutual agreement. Position will be primarily based in Libya, subject to project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Monitor security situation and provide regular reporting. Conduct threat analysis and risk assessments. Coordinate site security, including drafting and implementing security plans. Develop and lead security strategy during development, construction, and operational phases. Define security requirements for contractors, EPC, and O\&M providers. Review EPC & O\&M security proposals. Assess site security and manage access control. Oversee day-to-day security operations. Manage local incidents and crisis response. Supervise security service providers and other relevant vendors. Conduct staff training and awareness programs. Handle reception of business travelers and perform investigations/audits. Ensure compliance with VPSHR (Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights) and CSR standards. Liaise with security representatives, partner companies, and government security forces at site level. Qualifications Proven experience in security coordination for large-scale infrastructure or energy projects, preferably in high-risk environments. Strong knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management, and security planning. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors and government authorities. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Familiarity with international security standards and CSR principles.
