Company Description As the Security Manager for the pre-opening phase of Tivoli Muscat, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety and security protocols to safeguard guests, staff, and property. You will lead all security-related planning and execution as the hotel transitions from construction to operational readiness, ensuring full compliance with Omani regulations and Tivoli brand standards. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Pre-Opening Phase: Develop the full security and safety operational plan for the hotel’s opening. Liaise with local authorities (Royal Oman Police, Civil Defence, Ministry of Tourism) to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. Design and implement emergency response procedures, fire drills, and evacuation plans. Oversee installation and setup of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms). Recruit, train, and manage the security team in preparation for the hotel opening. Assist in the development of departmental SOPs and training materials. Collaborate with contractors and project teams to ensure site safety during pre-opening. Operational Phase (Post-Opening): Monitor and ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel assets. Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive strategies to mitigate threats. Ensure compliance with internal policies and local law enforcement regulations. Coordinate security coverage for VIP visits, events, and high-profile guests. Manage incident reports, investigations, and follow-up actions. Maintain close coordination with local emergency services and government agencies. Conduct regular audits and training sessions to ensure preparedness. Qualifications Nationality: Omani (as per localization requirements) Proven experience (5+ years) in hotel security management or related field, preferably in a pre-opening or international hotel environment. Strong understanding of local Omani security laws and regulations. Excellent leadership, organizational, and crisis management skills. Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions. Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English. Certified in First Aid, Fire Safety, and Emergency Response (preferred).
