Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
As a Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all security operations to ensure the safety and security of the site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage a team of security personnel, coordinate security measures, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

AS PART OF YOUR ROLE, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Manage and lead a team of security personnel, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and management regarding security matters
  • Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
  • Ensure the correct escalation of incidents in line with the incident escalation process, maintaining accurate records
  • Oversee the operation of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio, and phone systems
  • Coordinate and deploy security resources effectively to handle incidents and emergencies
  • Implement emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines
  • Provide regular reports on security operations and performance to management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage
