Position Overview Pacha New York is seeking an experienced and authoritative Security Manager to lead all security operations for the venue, ensuring the safety of guests, artists, staff, and partners within a high-volume nightlife and live entertainment environment. This role is responsible for crowd management, risk mitigation, emergency response, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining a calm, professional, and guest-focused security presence. The Security Manager will lead internal and external security teams, coordinate closely with local authorities, and play a critical role in delivering safe, well-managed events at scale in one of New York’s most dynamic nightlife venues. Key Responsibilities Oversee all security operations, including access control, crowd management, perimeter security, artist protection, and incident response. Develop and implement security procedures, emergency response plans, and event-specific risk assessments. Lead, train, schedule, and manage in-house security teams and third-party security providers. Ensure full compliance with New York State and City safety regulations, licensing requirements, and venue standards. Plan and execute security coverage for large-scale events, sold-out shows, VIP experiences, and high-profile performances. Act as the primary liaison with NYPD, FDNY, EMT services, and local regulatory authorities. Maintain accurate incident reporting, daily logs, and post-event security summaries. Lead by example on event nights, providing a visible, calm, and decisive security presence. What We’re Looking For 5–7 years of security management experience within nightlife, live entertainment, hospitality, or large public venues. Proven experience managing high-volume crowds and late-night operations. Strong knowledge of New York City safety regulations, emergency protocols, and crowd management best practices. Demonstrated leadership experience managing security teams and external vendors. Excellent judgement, situational awareness, and decision-making skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with artists, VIPs, and high-profile clientele. Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control technologies, and incident reporting. Based in Brooklyn or the surrounding area, enabling rapid response when required.
