QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Cyber/Technology Management, Business Management, Government, or International Studies, or similar curriculum, and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, or government or military information security management or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 6 years’ of relevant experience.
  • Experience leveraging Physical Security, Industrial Security, Cybersecurity or Special Programs support of proposals and programs.
  • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3, JSIG/RMF, ICD-503 and/or equivalent requirements.
  • Experience with self-inspections and professional engagements with internal and external customers.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Long-term planning to meet global security compliance requirements, including serving as security Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various teams.
  • Engaging with internal and external security professionals and government customer organizations.
  • Service as Facility Security Officer (FSO) for a Joint Venture (JV)
  • Manage contractractual security reviews to ensure requirements are consistent with the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and various other government directives as specified in the DD Form 254 and contract Statement of Work (SOW) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) efforts.
  • Assist program leadership and other security partners in resolving security risks and opportunities directly with the customer, suppliers, RTX teammates, and other stakeholders.
  • Advise and assist local government, military, and company security professionals in resolving security matters at deployed field sites in the continental United States and abroad.
  • Research and present positions on contractual documents, internal directives, and the NISPOM Rule for security applicability and impact analysis.
  • Elevate security classification issues to local engineering and customer SMEs.
  • Assist in preparation of transportation and various security plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), as required for the movement, transportation, delivery, storage, and operation of classified information and hardware to domestic and international locations.
  • Participate in, lead, and coordinate program security reviews, training, and exercises to various audiences and organizational levels.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the security organization to support evolving program execution needs.
  • Travel as required to provide necessary security support.
  • Be a self-starter capable of multitasking and efficiently managing your time requiring minimal levels of supervision.
