Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will bring our agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift while working with integrity and a people-first mindset. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific access procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and supporting security-related protocols at the location. Monitor doors, gates, badges, credentials, and/or visitor logs to help control access to the facility, including verifying authorization for individuals, deliveries, and/or contractors. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Prepare routine reports on access activity, incidents, policy violations, and/or daily observations, and report concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
