As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, greet drivers and visitors, and support security-related screening such as package checks and X-ray review. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Control access to the facility by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining access logs. Monitor cameras and alarm systems, observe shipping and receiving areas for unusual activity, and report concerns according to post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including docks, trailer yards, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by site. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
