As an Access Control Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, managing access points, and conducting routine patrols of the premises. This is a part time position and is not eligible for benefits or 401k Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles to help to deter unauthorized entry. Follow site-specific security-related procedures and policies to maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial setting. Provide customer service by assisting employees and visitors with access-related inquiries and directions as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues. Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or client contacts. Support emergency response activities by following established response plans and assisting as directed. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
