What You'll Do: Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel front desk location. Control access through the main lobby and front desk area by greeting entrants, verifying identification and/or credentials as required, issuing visitor information as directed, and helping to deter unauthorized entry. Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; identify unusual activity and report concerns to hotel management and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest disturbances, medical calls, and fire or weather events, and coordinate with first responders as needed. Complete shift logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details; communicate status updates and post instructions during shift turnover to support consistent front desk operations. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
