Company Description Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North comprises a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Meryal Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres. Job Description Security Officer This position ensures that security procedures, emergency response plans, and loss-prevention measures are executed to the highest standards in support of the hotel’s luxury hospitality service. Patrol hotel premises, including guest floors, public areas, back-of-house, beach zones, and island facilities to prevent and identify potential security risks. Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring only authorized personnel enter. Respond promptly to guest or colleague incidents, emergencies, and safety-related concerns. Operate the CCTV system in compliance with hotel and local authority regulations. Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and violations of hotel policies immediately. Document incidents accurately using security logs, reports, and digital systems. Assist in implementing the hotel’s emergency procedures (fire, medical, evacuation, crisis). Provide support during fire drills, first-aid situations, and real-time emergency events. Conduct bag checks, key control procedures, and asset verification as directed. Offer assistance to guests courteously while maintaining strong situational awareness. Provide directions, escort services, and general information when needed. Qualifications Previous experience in security, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment. Knowledge of safety and security standards, emergency response, and incident reporting. Physically fit, alert, and able to work in outdoor island environments as required. Strong communication skills in English, Arabic, or additional languages are an advantage. Valid security training certificates preferred. Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Additional Information
