Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will work with integrity and teamwork while bringing a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach to every shift. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, assist with badge or credential checks, and report policy-related issues, damaged property, and/or suspicious behavior. Support daily operations by observing trailer yards, loading dock areas, and high-traffic zones, following post orders, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related incidents. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
