What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazards, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal procedures. Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and/or emergency responders as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and contractors at the location. Minimum Requirements: At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
