Job Description As a Airport Security Officer - Dispatcher in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, it's facilities, travelers, and ensure the safety and security of airport operations. you’ll be the communication hub of our aviation security operations. You’ll coordinate real-time responses, monitor systems, and dispatch officers to where they’re needed most. Position Type: Full Time - Overnight Shift Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:30 PM - 06:00 AMTue09:30 PM - 06:00 AMWed09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSat09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSun09:30 PM - 06:00 AM Requirements Valid Driver's License Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring Security Experience: 1+ years 21+ years of age Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements) NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols or while on duty. Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and daily activities. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. Support law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or drills at the location. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
