What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government aviation location. Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and screening-adjacent areas as assigned, verifying credentials and/or authorized entry while directing individuals to appropriate resources and locations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or public agency personnel as required. Complete detailed written reports and logs of daily activities, observations, and incidents, and communicate relevant information to supervisors during shift transitions. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
