Job Description As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Morning Shift Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: DayTimeSat07:30 AM - 04:00 PMSun07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Requirements: 20+ Years of Age Valid Drivers License Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately during emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Document and report observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements. Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns at the location. Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while on duty, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
