You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist travelers and staff with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, curbside zones, and perimeter fencing to help to deter prohibited activity and identify maintenance hazards and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points to restricted areas by checking identification and/or credentials, observing entry and exit activity, and reporting access concerns per site policy. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and/or local public agencies as required. Complete detailed reports and logs of patrol activity, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate updates to supervision in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Be 21+ years of age. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
