As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support visitors and staff with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or travelers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government airport location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing clear directions, requesting assistance, and documenting actions taken. Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Control access to restricted areas by checking identification and/or credentials, monitoring gates and doors, and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel. Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and camera systems when assigned, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
