Job Description As a Airport Traffic Control Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard the airport, its facilities, travelers, directing and managing flow of traffic, enforcing security protocals and procedures helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. Your presence and routine patrols will support a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time - Morning Shift Pay Rate: $19.23 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $4.30. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee. Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:30 AM - 04:00 PMFri07:30 AM - 04:00 PMSat07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Requirements: 20+ Years of Age Valid Drivers License Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed. Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to maintain a secure environment at the location. Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during the shift according to company and client requirements. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 20 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
