JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking vigilant and dedicated Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. This role requires keen observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE

  • SIA licence required.
  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
  • Certification in first aid is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect and prevent any suspicious activities.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to protect company assets and deter theft.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary until professional medical assistance arrives.
  • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as needed.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.
  • Conduct regular inspections of security equipment to ensure functionality.
