Job Summary: One Daytona/Coquina Provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Security personnel will always perform job duties with a constant awareness of surroundings, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area. Security Officers must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service. Basic Functions: * Control of entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic. * Patrol of buildings and perimeters. * Escort of material and personnel. * Inspection of security and fire exposures. * Special assignments. Responsibilities: Duties may vary depending on department size, organizational structure, geographic location and post assignments. Overall general function of officers is to provide security detail as described below (Note: duties may vary depending on post orders): * Be on time and report to post in full uniform. * Maintain professional image that includes greeting customers, visitors and employees in a polite and friendly manner. * Be proactive in knowing all revisions to post orders and general information distributed by the customer and AFS. * Patrol physical property or maintain fixed post position, being diligent to report any suspicious activity and investigate accidents and criminal acts. * Monitor cameras or equipment in a continuous fashion as outlined in the post orders. * Maintain a working knowledge of all emergency policies, procedures and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations. * Complete Daily Activity Reports, Log Book entries, Incident Reports and all relevant reports related to job assignment. * Make recommendations to management on better safety and loss prevention processes as identified during daily routine. * Have knowledge of any life safety systems, fire panels, CCTV system computer, and other such equipment to complete job assignments. Ensure continuous and safe operation of all elevators and access doors. Know authorized contractor personnel who are responsible for maintenance and upkeep of equipment. * Ensure training and compliance guidelines are met as outlined by AFS and other agencies regulating the customer / market. * Communicate on a daily basis with Security Supervisor any new Security Issues or changes that need to be considered or implemented. Qualifications Andy Frain Services is seeking highly motivated, professional, and customer service-oriented Security Officers to join our team. This position is assigned to an executive office environment and requires individuals who are dependable, resourceful, detail-oriented, and capable of exercising sound judgment while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence. Security Officers serve as the first point of contact for employees, executives, visitors, contractors, and vendors and are responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and professional environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, executives, guests, vendors, and visitors. * Monitor access control systems and issue temporary access credentials as required. * Verify identification and maintain accurate visitor logs. * Enforce property policies, procedures, and building regulations. * Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of the property. * Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity. * Respond to alarms, emergencies, safety concerns, and incidents requiring security intervention. * Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation. * Conduct property inspections and identify potential hazards, safety concerns, or maintenance issues. * Assist with risk management initiatives by identifying and reporting liability concerns, trip hazards, water leaks, damaged property, unsafe conditions, and other potential risks. * Maintain key control procedures and accountability of issued equipment. * Assist with emergency response procedures, evacuations, severe weather events, medical emergencies, and fire alarms. * Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. * Interact professionally with executives, corporate staff, visitors, contractors, and public safety personnel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma or GED required. * Valid Florida Driver's License preferred. * Valid Florida Department of Agriculture Class "D" Security License required. * CPR/AED Certification preferred. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and email systems. * Ability to learn access control, visitor management, and incident reporting software. * Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. * Ability to climb stairs and conduct building patrols. * Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. * Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. * Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and safety concerns. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE * Security, military, law enforcement, corrections, emergency services, hospitality, customer service, or executive protection experience. * Experience working in corporate office buildings, executive environments, hospitals, government facilities, or high-profile properties. * Experience with CCTV systems, access control systems, badging systems, and incident reporting platforms.
