Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift Pay Rate: $30.64 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:30 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations and actions according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Support staff during security-related situations involving patient and visitor interactions, access control, and after-hours activity while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: Possess an armed guard card/license. A guard card/license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. A valid firearms permit is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
