As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with professional customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, donors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation when appropriate and timely notification to site leadership and/or public responders. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site. Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, following check-in protocols, and documenting unusual activity per post orders. Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements, complete required training and qualifications, and document patrols, incidents, and observations in daily activity reports. Minimum Requirements: Have 1+ years' law enforcement experience OR 2+ years' security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years' security experience. Be 21+ years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
