Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur05:45 AM - 06:00 PMFri05:45 AM - 06:00 PMSat05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and/or controlled access points, helping to identify unusual activity and policy violations. Monitor movement through restricted areas, verify credentials and/or authorization as required, and support access control processes for staff, contractors, and approved visitors. Assist with emergency situations, alarms, medical calls, and/or transportation-related activity while maintaining a professional presence and following post orders and applicable procedures. Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
