As an Armed Patrol Officer within a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by routinely patrolling designated areas and maintaining a visible presence. This driving and armed position allows you to play a key role in fostering a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:30 PM - 06:30 PMTue02:30 PM - 06:30 PMWed02:30 PM - 06:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed security personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with special attention to the unique needs of a healthcare location. Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients by providing information and guidance as needed. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client site expectations. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter criminal activity and promote a feeling of security among those on site. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. An armed guard card or license is required as specified by local and/or state regulations. You must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
