What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and/or suspicious activity. Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to Allied Universal and site management as required. Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions, information, and security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence. Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, helping to prevent unauthorized entry. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. An armed guard card or license is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
